The Forest Hills Tuv Ha'Aretz CSA is happy to announce that we are now accepting applications for the spring/summer/fall season, June 1 - Nov 23.  The application form can be found on our website  Registration will be first-come, first-served.  We encourage you to mail your application in early to reserve a spot.  If we receive your application by February 1, you will recieve a free organic cotton Tuv Ha'Aretz tote bag!   

Costs for full shares, for 26 weeks, are $530 for vegetables (FHJC member), $545 for vegetables (non-member), and $150 for fruit.  Costs for half shares are $280 for vegetables (FHJC member), $290 for vegetables (non-member), and $80 for fruit.  Full vegetable shares consist of 6-10 different vegetables.  Half shares can be done by either splitting a full share with a friend, or picking up the full amount every-other-week.  The fruit shares are also available in full or half shares.  This year's fruit share will feature extra strawberries.  Details regarding the shares can be found on the application form.

CSA stands for community supported agriculture.  You can read more about what a CSA is  along with the benefits of joining a CSA, such as buying local, eating fresh & healthy, protecting the environment, and joining a community.  The Forest Hills Tuv Ha'Aretz CSA is part of Hazon's CSA network .  We offer fun programs like cooking classes and farm trips, in addition to the  vegetable and fruit deliveries.  You can read more about our wonderful farms on their websites: Golden Earthworm Organic Farm (vegetables) and Briermere Farms (fruit).  The Forest Hills Tuv Ha'Aretz CSA is hosted by the Forest Hills Jewish Center.  The CSA warmly welcomes Jewish and non-Jewish memebers.
